Hi, It seems circular routing is working well. However, when using -strokes2fills option, I think it should remove the inner part of the routing, since that area will be cut away. Currently it only removes the outline of the routing. The drill file I tried is the following. Please tell me if it is enough or if you wanted to try something else. --- Begin of drill file M48 METRIC,TZ FMAT,2 ICI,OFF T03C0.5000 % M71 G90 G93X0Y0 T03 G00X27000Y14500 M15 G03X23000Y18500A4000 X19000Y14500A4000 X23000Y10500A4000...

Ok I thought the layer was prepared first without combining with others, and then merged, so transparent areas will let see the layers underneath... Let's wait for version 2.0... Thanks, Carlos

I agree. Doing the trick with the paste layer will not improve... I noticed you are using PDF version 1.3. A quick search showed that transparency in PDFs is supported from PDF version 1.4... https://www.prepressure.com/pdf/basics/transparency http://www.pdfvt.com/PDFVT_TransparencyGuide.html Is that an option? Hi, Thanks a lot! It works great! I was playing with it and like it a lot. I noticed another thing that may could be improved. When drawing the soldermask openings for top or bottom view, usually what is under the mask is copper, so a grey colour is fine for example for tinned finishing. However, there are some cases where soldermask is removed but there is no copper underneath, so only fiber is exposed. This is usual for microwave RF designs, for example, but another simple example could be fiducial...

Just to be sure... I was not talking about translating automatically lines to areas, but having an option, not enabled by default, allowing to do that. That way, it helps, and it should be the user who asks for this behaviour with some special option...

I am using it for documentation, which I thought it should be its primary use... Being able to draw holes with any color is just fine. I use the same color than that used for background and it works perfectly. From that point of view, being able to fill the outline with a color seems perfectly reasonable, as it helps to see non plated holes. After all, it is just a color. I don't get why this means loosing matching between the output and the original gerber files. Of course you are the one who decides...
