Ok, thanks a lot! So it was the classic "decimal separator" issue...should have tested myself before posting....can confirm that it works properly when changing to "dot" ...
This error occurs for 4 material streams and the two unit operations (gibbs and equilibrium reactor) if I understand the error messages correctly (see screenshot) Here's the "Error Location": Code Location: ToDouble (file '', line 0) Calling Method: Flash_PT (file 'C:\Users\Daniel\source\repos\DanWBR\dwsim6\DWSIM.Thermodynamics\FlashAlgorithms\NestedLoops.vb', line 130)
Hi there, When trying to run the sample "Gibbs and Equilibrium Reactors" in version 6.6.3 (Classic UI). I get a number of errors of the following sort: "Conversion from string "1.0" to type 'Double' is not valid" These errors come up for all the material streams and the tow reactors (and more are displayed). Not sure what version I ran that sample last time but then it still worked...some bug during updates? Or a problem only I have (windows settings? Update?) ? Thanks in advance for any hints/guidance!...
Hi again, Daniel! The problem reappeared when updating to v6.2 u1 - DWSIM crashes during startup and the problems are related to the Advanced EOS add-in I suspect. Maybe the Advanced EOS is kind of obsolete now as you implemented PC-SAFT into DWSIM? Thanks in advance, Stefan
YOU ALREADY DID BY NOW! that was fast! Thanks Daniel for a quick response and fix of the problem! Great stuff you're doing!!!
Just installed the update for version 6.1 u2 on Windows (64-bit) but now DWSIM chrashes during startup. In the error details (see attached text file) it refers to the Advanced EOS package so I assume there is some incopatibility there... Will stick to version 6.0 for the moment :) so no urgent issue but maybe something to fix when time allows (or maybe it is some problem specific to my installation?).
