Someone in this thread claims to have fixed IMDB scraping with a mod that they created using AI: https://sourceforge.net/p/mediacompanion/discussion/general/thread/0f7e3e0835/?limit=25#8134 I tried it and it's crashing for me, but he has a screenshot showing a successful scrape and at least one person commented that it worked for them. For me, I'm getting by with partial scraping from TMDb instead.

I'm holding out hope for this project. I like it better than TinyMediaManager. Of course family comes first, but don't totally abandon this! Fix the donation link so the community can help motivate you! :-)

Wow yeah looks like for TVDb V4, the app developer has to pay an annual fee based on revenue, but if it is an Open-source or free project (like this one) they require the end-user to buy a personal subscription. This costs $11.99 per year (often rounded to $12). Subscribing generates a unique User PIN that you enter into your software settings to unlock metadata access.

I also really want IMDb scraping back. Like Oneirus said, nothing compares to how it was before. Do you take donations? It says "This organization can't accept donations right now." when I try the "Donate via Paypal" donation tab. I want to support and encourage your efforts. It is much appreciated.

You have to click Change Movie and then search for it.

No, don't discontinue or remove the ratings features! I love this feature! Waiting patiently for the next version of Media Companion that fixes it to work with the new APIs. Don't give up!! <3
