I have a basic question for Siemens experts as I am not familiar with the Siemens ecosystem. We have SIMOTION D425-2 based piece of equipment programmed with Simatic Manager 5.2. All variables are exposed using OPC XML-DA server. What is the process to make these variables available via SNAP7 calls? Do I need to make modifications to the project? As an example, we have the E-Stop status available at SIMOTION,unit/_VARGLOBAL.ESTOP. Should this already be addressable with SNAP7? Thanks Chris
