Hi Peter Your response helped nail the problem!! I checked and noticed that the manual pre-amp or 'prevent clipping' was NOT actually lowering the volume. I then decided to explicitly select my headphones under the devices section and thena message/error popped up that APO wasnt installed for the headphones. So ran the installer again selecting everything, rebooted and now no more clipping!! This was in the web player of YTM (and tested also with Spotify web player as I had been using the desktop...

Hi Peter I am playing some music off Youtube Music and it doesnt matter how much the pre-amplify is reduced, there is constant clipping (this is with the "Prevent Clipping" enabled). The music doesnt sound distorted but it is annoying knowing the sound is clipping constantly. Interestingly when I play music in say Spotify desktop application nothing ever gets clipped even with the default equalizer which has "Prevent Clipping" unchecked and pre-amplify seto to -5. Any thoughts?

I am new to Peace configurator but totally love it. Sorry if this is question that has been previously raised. I have made some recommended settings for my Bose headphones. I have a -5db pre-amplify setting on my equalizer but sometimes i find this pushed down to as low as -30db and the volume on my headphones is then very low.
