Could it be possible to force utf8 loading bypassing conversion error inserting a specific char instead (•) or whatever. I have some utf-8 file with few Japanese letters but a lot of accentuated french char. If i load the file i see ugly combination each time multi-byte sequence is met event if it can be rendered in windows-1252 cp. Conversion errors are not listed so i cannot see the file correctly nor correct it. The file is generated inside a zip and manipulations with iconv can be done but need...

This is what i did, even with a move. Unfortunately, installer do not wait for batch to finish. Then delete temporary files before batch is able to move all. I will try to create another exe to move it all... But it would be safer to have option to not delete, and have an extraction destination...

I only find a small installer.txt in the lzma-SDK sources, does it exists a better documentation ? I would like to switch form old modified 7zSD_LZMA2.sfx to standard one, but i miss some functions or info: - is it possible to force unpack in a predefined folder instead of a temporary one? - is it possible to wait if i want to run a batch file at startup instead of an exe? - I have a portable application with a predefined folder destination and update process using a batch file, it was working OK...

I'm trying to use 7zSDS.sfx + content.txt + atchive.7z. I have an content.txt for 7Z_LZMA2.sfx dedicated installer able to extract to a specific folder instead of a TEMxxxx. When using same file with the 7zsd.sfx from LZMA SDK, he archive is extracted, it lauch a bat file but do not wait end of the process before deleting temp folder. I've purchased DView and i was hopping to have a way to change background color or at least to have automatic switch on windows to match black theme... Unfortunatelly this is not the case and the bright background is fixed. Coulkd it be possible to support configurable background color ?
