Scott‘s description of the colored narrow vertical bar could be misleading. Those clips which do not have that colored bar are those which have not been pasted using Ditto. They could have been pasted via another clipboard manager or via the Windows clipboard.

For the record, that project had no activity for more than 7 years, and hardly any for more than 12. I recommend looking into CopyQ instead.

Hi, At this point, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clipboard_manager#Linux lists several options. CopyQ would be another one.
