Why not allow quick format on file volume? We are intelligent users and should be allowed to take the risk if we desire to do so. This is repeated issue I have a new 8tb external drive; 24 hours to format. After Veracrypt format got to 0% it gives an error message saying not enough space to do some task. So I have waited already 24 hours. The entire drive is filled with random data. My only option is to start over and try after another 24 hours. What to do???? So I reduce the size of the file volumn...
