I'd recommend checking the setting on your ASIO4All. A couple of weeks ago, I helped a user who had that kind of issue with an external sound card -- the Focusrite. He runs Windows 10, also. I discovered that the ASIO4ALL setting included not only the Focusrite, but the internal sound card. After we disabled (unselected) the internal sound card, everything worked as advertised (low latency). We also made sure Windows 10 was working with the Focusrite. Give that a try, if you haven't already done...
Answer: Suggestion ... Use a separate device with video capability, like a tablet or old mobile device running Zoom. Point it at the screen.
I don't think either approach you've proposed will work. Whenever I've attempted to run Zoom and a Jamulus server, the latency explodes (putting Zoom on the server side). I believe audio is processed by Zoom (somehow) and is routed through everything and that increases the latency. I always got red lights. I also tried using a video switcher on the server side. It just didn't work. The solution that works for me (regardless of the server selected and being used) is to take the output from the Jamulus...
Clarification for users (including me) who are new to Linux and the command line: "--licence /" is included on a line in the jamulus.service file.
