Hi Karl You didn't tell us the type of files you are trying to clone, but I'm going to guess that it's Windows. Clonezilla will use dd to clone a Windows disk if it can't read the disk files because Windows Fast Startup is ON or that Windows BitLocker is ON. Make sure that they are OFF and you should be good to go. Also running a Windows Disk Check on your disk is also a very good idea before cloning (C:> CHKDSK C: /F).
Hi Yannick First, make sure that you are using a current version of Clonezilla. Next, if you can't see your NVMe drive then it is probably configured with a RAID driver that Clonezilla can't read. Go into the BIOS UEFI configuration and change the drive settings from VMD or Rapid Storage Technology RST to AHCI, save and reboot, then create the clone image of the PC with Clonezilla, then reboot and turn RST back on and then reboot again. This usually works with most Windows PCs that were created with...
Hi Frankie On your new Dell PC, open the Dell BIOS UEFI configuration page and change the NVMe drive mode from Intel RST or VMD to ACHI, save and reboot. Clonezilla should now be able to use your new Dell NVMe drive and write your image. Depending on how you created your old PC image you may or may not need to turn off ACHI and turn back on RST or VMD. I don't like to use RST or VMD so I never turn it back on. This works for me, your mileage may vary. https://sourceforge.net/p/clonezilla/discuss...

Hi Sergio Go into the Dell BIOS UEFI configuration and change the drive settings from Rapid Storage Technology (RST) to AHCI, save and reboot, then create the clone image of the PC with Clonezilla, then reboot and turn RST back on and then reboot again. This usually works with most Windows PCs that were created with RST. I don't like to use RST so I usually I wipe the drive first and create a new Windows image with RST off and AHCI on and never turn RST back on. Then I am free from working with RST....
Hi Steven I just tested clonezilla-live-3.2.1-9-amd64.zip and it works. No problems found. Thanks for the update. Chuck
