Hello and happy new year from Los Angeles! I am testing this in preparation for the Quadrantids, but I have been unable to get echoes to recognize my SDR (specifically a NooElec v5, which is an Elonics E4000). I use this SDR with many other programs on the same PC without trouble. I also tried a separate RTL-SDR 2832U and also could not get echoes to detect it. Is there any kind of diagnostic or log I can look at to figure out what's wrong?
So far I've only gotten it working on real Win 7 hardware, no VMs.

Actually this file may be roots.dir- it's one of the two.
Yes- this is true. However, you can edit these directory assignments in a file. I am not at my computer right now but if I remember correctly it is called "dir.dir". It is somewhere in the Mig Alley directory and can be edited in Notepad.

For what it's worth I've managed to get this working perfectly ok my Windows machine with otherwise modern hardware. So whatever the problem is, it lies in something 10 is doing that did not happen in 7 (doesnt work in 8 either).
