OK, thanks.
No issues of any kind I was just concerned about that new file I have never seen. Y: is mapped to my QNAP NAS. It usually has about 800 backup/copies of our KP apps. Once or twice a year, I just delete older files and keep about 250 backups for each of us. I have not seen any sync errors for either of us.
Thank you very much for the details! I have KP on my PC and my wife's PC and use the following trigger. Any chance that my ProtectedUserKey.bin could affect her KP? <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> <TriggerCollection xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"> <Triggers> <Trigger> <Guid>mjVKNrq0bkyd6mxa+iYg6A==</Guid> <Name>trig-first-open-sync</Name> <TurnOffAfterAction>true</TurnOffAfterAction> <Events> <Event> <TypeGuid>5f8TBoW4QYm5BvaeKztApw==</TypeGuid>...
Yesterday (8-10-22), I just noticed the file ProtectedUserKey.bin in C:\Users\xxxxxx\AppData\Roaming\KeePass dated 07/02/22. I have used KP for 15+ years and never saw that file before. No experimenting with hardware keys. No experimenting with "Windows user account". I have very detailed documents for every setting. I have not changed any setting for a couple of years. I have sync settings enabled to copy the .kdbx file to my raid server. I am extremely afraid to delete that file... maybe lose all...
