You find a lot of "xfe" projects on Microsoft GitHub. But all I found are out dated and not active.

Then how can someone join your project? Aren't you interested in contributions via Pull Requests? I can not evaluate your project activity and your work because I can not see your commit history. From a FOSS contributors point of view this makes your project very unattractive because it is not transparent. Best wishes, Christian

Hello Roland, thank you for the reply. It seems this setting appears only in the context menu. Am I right? In this case I would suggest to make this setting avialble in the global settings dialog, too. And also in the View menu of the main menu bar. This is where users usual are searching for this. Your are the upstream maintainer, right? You are the core developer also, right? So how could it be that you do not know? You know the internas and the libraries that your software use to read and show CSV's or table data. Maybe you can do an assumption or do a test.

Please be more clear with the support of "very large Files". What does it mean in columns, rows and/or disk file size? What about 150.000.000 rows with 32 columns (~15 GB uncompressed file size)?

Thanks for the explanations. I see that V1 and V2 are active. I do not see why this is usefull but I am sure there are reasons for this. ;) But what I do not understand is why V1 is usefull because there is no browser integration. Did you copy and paste your passwords? What is the workflow with V1?

OK, I am confused. Usually I use KeePassXC on my private home PC. I know that this is a "fork" and not related to this repository here. But at work I have to eat what the admins cook. The offer me KeePass v1. Looking at this repository here I can see that KeePass v1 is from January this year. So it is still in development? What is KeePass v2? Is this a beta? Or is it stable, too? Why there are two stable KeePass versions? What would be the reason to use KeePass v1 instead of v2 or KeePassXC?

I use KeePass 1.26 under Windows 10 64 bit with MS Edge Version 90.0.818.49 (Offizielles Build) (64-Bit). I found 3 KeePass related AddOns for Edge and tried them all. All of them tell me that they are not able to connect to any database. But KeePass itself is running, the database is loaded and unlocked. Informations about project members should appear in a README and/or AUTHORS file. Informations about how to build should appear in a BUILD file. Who is the maintainer? You have write access to the ticket system. Why doesn't the maintainer or one of the official project members join this discussion.

Maybe you missunderstand me or we have totaly divergent opinions/views on FOSS projects. You are the maintainer. You have all the informations for the README and BUILD file in your head. You just have to write them down. I don't have that informations you have. I would have to invest a lot of time and nervs to find all that things out "just" to create a README and BUILD file. I think I didn't understand you or I wasn't good in formulating my report. An mp3-file has two tags %albumartist% and %artist%. But my clients only see %albumartist% which is names as "Interpret". But htat is wrong. The "Interpret" is %artist%. The "Album Interpret" ist %albumartist%. Both should be offered. But I thinky they are not. This worked fine when using e.g. Twonky.

It is usual and minimal to have README and INSTALL (or BUILD) file in a source tarball/repository. It is not the job of a forum to document something. It would be very userfriendly if you could fix it. It would lower the wall to enter and contribute to your project. My bug report is not only about "how to install" or something like tha. It is about improving the project - which is my main goal. So it doesn't look good not having such files - even for a FOSS-project conducted in freetime.
