I am the developer of an audio application that has been in use by my client for many years. We are using ALSA to stream audio I/O using an M-Audio Delta44 PCI audio card (ICE1712 driver) running CentOS 6.9 on a quad-core Intel CPU on a PICMG card in an industrial chassis.
