Never mind! I found out that the problem was not with PDF Scissors but with some of the files I was trying to edit that had become corrupt through some other means!

I was so impressed at the ease-of-use and speed of this program to help me crop some scanned pdf files until it all of the sudden stopped working correctly. I tried deleting the contents of my temp folder and restarting my computer. Neither thing helped. What should I do to make it work? I really don't want to upload my files to the online service. I want to process my files on my local computer.
