Strange. .. If you click on Edit Icon button, it will call the icon editor. On the Create Action - Find Set, if you double click on the last line /usr/dt/appconfig/icons/C, you should access a lot of icons (for me) What about you ? Hi. Sorry but I can't find information here. What is new in CDE 2.5.2 ? In fact, I am currently running CDE 2.5.1 on Rocky Linux 8.9 and I am for the moment an happy user as CDE 2.5.1 works great and I enjoy this daily retrocomputing. So I would like to know if I could run the risk to install new 2.5.2 ? Which corrects this new release or what are the news features ? Thank you in advance Bernard

found a workaroud (maybe a bit dirty) make a backup of usr/dt/etc/cde/fontaliases/fonts.alias file edit then /usr/dt/etc/cde/fontaliases/fonts.alias from lines 1 around 450 (-dt-interface****), remove all lines having "serif" to only keep "sans" save change and reboot

Successfully installed CDE 2.5.1 on Rocky Linux 8.1. Eveythings went fine until I tried to start CDE disconnected from network (No RJ45 plugged in my box) Without LAN connexion, CDE refuse to load, remaining blocked on the blue CDE login screen. I have to put the network cable to make the desktop appear. Any idea ? I think it turn around rpcbind or somedthing like that
