It might be doable for object type (and maybe all/other object types), proper motion, and radial velocity as well.
Hi Guys, I wonder, is there any feature, or the plan to add a feature, that would allow Stellarium to pull other data from SIMBAD (besides the star's coordinates and identifier) when executing a search for a custom object, such as spectral class and parallax; perhaps then having an internal script that calculates the light-year distance from the parallax data (3261.56/parallax) and then displaying that light-year distance result in the star data on-screen? Thanks again! Bobby.
Thanks Alexander! :). Just a couple of quick questions though, where in Stellarium would that toggle button/box appear? and do you have an example script file that I can use as a template? Thank you both so much! :)

Thank you Gzotti , Quick question though, if I add these to my startup.ssc script file, will it make them visible all the time? If so, is there a way I can make them toggle-able, meaning check buttons in the "markings" tab in the "options" menu, so I can switch them on and off? If not, how can I do that? Is it possible, Gzotti? Thanks again! :) Bobby.
Hi Cameron, Did you manage to create this Aboriginal skyculture in the end? If so, I'd love to have it for my own use. Is there any chance I could get a copy of it? Thanks so much Cameron! :). Bobby.
Hi Mark, Did you ever complete the Hevelius skyculture in the end? If you did, is there any chance I could get a copy of it? Thanks so much! :) Bobby.
Hi There Dominik, Did you ever get the Vanuatu skyculture completed in the end? If you did, is there any chance I could get a copy of it? Thanks Dominik! :) Bobby.
