Thanks for the info BrunoV25. Using sqlitebrowser, google translate and some general internet searches, I came up with the attached species list. Please verify my translations are correct. (Note that I changed the family that was in the database for Maceron.)

Has anyone come up with an easy way to rename the varieties in the default database? My issue is that I do not read French. Some of the varieties I can make out (carottes - carrots, celeri - celery, etc.), others I have no idea, other than translate each one, as well as the families, etc. If I could get into the database, I could translate (via Google Translate) a large part of the database. Unfortunately, I do not know how to easily do this. Any thoughts?

I would like to start a 'wish list' for OpenJardin. So far, I would like to see the following: North/South Arrow - designates the general direction of the sun (South in the Northern Hemisphere and North in the Southern Hemisphere) Zoom > 3.05X - Larger parcels of land need the extra zoom Smaller yellow boxes for polygons and polylines - the boxes are too big to be accurate -- The attachment is a screenshot of my project so far. (4.23 acres)

The above command line "LANG=en_US.UTF-8 openjardin" seems to work. Not being a speaker or reader of French, I used Google Translate to translate the 'notice' pdf file to English. (Note: there are some things that I did not quite understand, or that I did not know which English word is a better match.) Anyway, attached is my attempt at an English version of the 'notice'.
