I have a CD version as well. I've just made an ISO, installed and patched the game to 1.1. However it behaves in the same way when using it in dxWnd, either crashes on startup or runs fullscreen with windows 98 compatibility mode set on the disc.exe.

Hello, I've been trying to start Disciples1 Gold from GOG to run in windowed mode, however I am unable to. I've tried the following: - ran DxWnd with admin privileges; - tried running only the disc.exe without the gogstart.exe - tried bypassing/enforcing gog libraries - tried windows 98 compatibility on disc.exe Any advice on what I could do? Should I try with a Steam version of the game? Thank you
