Trigger: I toggled the "Ensure Ditto is always connected" setting in Options > General. The Bug: Immediately, all clip descriptions turned blank/invisible. Disabling the setting or starting a fresh database did not fix it. The UI stayed broken. The Resolution: I had to use BCUninstaller to perform a deep clean of the registry and config files. A normal reinstall was not attempted, but a fresh install after the deep clean fixed the rendering. Validation: My backed-up clips (exported as files) now...
