    Ok. After a couple of weeks of letting the soundcards sit unused on my desk, I now gave it another try hoping to stumble over some new insights. Unfortunately nothing changed. I also reached out to Creative support but they answered they are not supporting Linux. Sigh. I am wondering why there are not more people having the same issues as this card seems widely spread and I doubt that this problem does not occur for other users.
