I've been playing some games and haven't been able to replicate the issue. I prefer using PgUp/PgDn to scroll through the shop as it's faster than the mouse wheel. But I used the mouse wheel specifically to see if I could get it to happen. Unfortunately I don't believe there are any specific logging you could look at or post. Maybe someone else who is more knowledgeable about the source can help.

Thanks for the info. I didn't test the installer enough and didn't notice this issue on my own system. I updated the Windows installer and tested on some other systems without any issues. Please download again and let me know if it addresses your issues. I'm actually surprised it worked with renaming the alleg44_64.dll as this was compiled as 32bit. So renaming the alleg44.dll appears to work. Although that version still wasn't exactly what I compiled with. Maybe some of your crashing issues were...

Ug, wrote a response but it didn't save and is gone. Short highlight, using the /NOABOVE16 and /X options of HIMEMX kept it from doing the repeating text but it still hangs. No other changes to the options did anything different. But I was able to use the old HIMEM and get the setup to boot up. I was still having some CD issues though and left it at that. I only got this old PC out to test an old AT keyboard that I picked up and wanted to make sure it worked. I've now got it converted to use USB....

Thanks for the response. Yes, it does start booting. I should have tried doing the trace (F8) first as that is an option. It's HIMEMX that's causing the problem. I commented that out of the FDCONFIG.SYS and it booted into the Install. But I'm leary to install it as I assume HIMEMX would have the same issue after install. Any thoughts on why HIMEMX would be failing? Are there some parameters that I could tweak?
