This is fixed in the YottaDB (https://yottadb.com) code base (https://gitlab.com/YottaDB/DB/YDB/issues/440) and will soon be released as part of r1.26 (https://gitlab.com/YottaDB/DB/YDB/-/milestones/5). If you want an in-flight build of the code (which will identify itself as r1.25), you can clone the repository at https://gitlab.com/YottaDB/DB/YDB and build yourself a release. Regards – Bhaskar

HI, Alan! Just a wild shot in the dark, but are your routines perhaps on a USB flash drive on a FAT file system? Where does /mnt/gtm/var/gtm/LVA/SPF/code/r/ come from? Bob, as I don't work for FIS, I cannot speak to FIS' intentions. I would certainly welcome it if they did.

On YottaDB (http://yottaddb.com / https://github.com/YottaDB/YottaDB), which is built on the foundation of the GT.M code base, we were able to replicate this issue (https://github.com/YottaDB/YottaDB/issues/85) and fix it (in one case, a test that took 83 seconds now takes .5 seconds). The fix will be in the next YottaDB release; if you need it sooner, please download from the source code committed at https://github.com/YottaDB/YottaDB and build it.
