Hi Marcus, The app is ran through a webserver running PHP. All you need to do is drop the unicenta-backoffice file into the webservers WWW directory and then run the install script. I can help you over teamviewer if you need me to.
Yeah, however the web reports is only availble with the paid subscription, and some businesses may not be able to afford this when starting out, therefore i made this for both the community and for those businesses.
I found that using the original backoffice from within Unicenta, un-flexible, meaning that you had to be in the building to access the information, or have to open your database up to the outside world. By using this it allows you to just open your database to the webserver, which is less of a vulnerability. And allows a business owner or manager to view sales as they happen, no matter where they are.
Hi everyone, for the past few months, i have been developing a backoffice for unicenta. It is very similar to a similar release that another user on these forums posted, it was called "uniserv", however i saw vulnerabilites and problems such as it was outdated and generally didnt work with newer php and mysql versions. Therefore i took it upon myself to essentially revamp this and make a better version. And now i am happy to release this to the community of Unicenta oPOs! Features of Unicenta Back-Office...
