Oh, that will work for containers but it won't fix it for keyfiles, right? Notice that I'm under W10 not 11.
Cool, I'll give it a try and let you know if it worked. Thanks.
Hi, I'm facing this issue for a while. Basically what title says, sometimes, not always, when I click on "Select file" the program crashes without any error message. And subsequent intents make it keep crashing. After some testing I found a workaround for this which is to open the portable x32 (my main is x64) then click on "Select file", close this version and then the main x64 works as expected. Is there a better fix for this issue? Since I guess (and I think I remember from reading about this...
So sorry, in my language (Spanish) it says "La clave compuesta es inválida", I think that translates as "The composite key", and I think it should be "La clave maestra" for "The master key". After changing the language to English it says as you say, "The master key is invalid" The version is correct. 2.56 at first, 2.59 later. Nice to know. No more tests needed so far. It seems to be working again.

Tried this, and while saving the file I got a BSOD with the error message: "System service exception". I cannot use dump files right now so got no more info. So I took the chance and after tacking out the RAM sticks and vacuuming the slots it seems to be working again. I've made some tests adding/deleting/editing entries, then saving and re-opening the DB, and it worked so far. I cannot open the previously modified (while the problem was present) DB's. Honestly the inside of the case is totally clean,...
Thank you for the advice. I make periodical backups. I don't have a different hardware where to make a test. But I can use Hiren's boot environment to test if there it works fine. If it does then I'd try in a new OS. But I'll start by taking out the RAM sticks and cleaning the slots with compressed air just in case. When done I'll be back with an update. Thank you all for replying.
