Thank you! I will try this
Hi, I would like to build my own version of Equalizer APO because I want to experiment with improving the loudness correction's behavior. The changes I want to make are basically just changing the constants for frequency, Q, and gain, very simple. I'm a software developer, but I've never done any Windows application development. I don't see a readme file for how to build in the source code. Does anyone know what I need to do in order to build EqualizerAPO from the source code? Thanks
I'm trying to do some heavy EQ, and I seem to run into clipping issues. It seems like I cannot clip the output at any step of the config script. So if I boost 10dB then cut 10dB, it seems like this would cause a problem because I'd clip the output by 10dB after boosting but before the cut, even though the final output doesn't clip. EQ APO seems to have some sort of limiter to prevent clipping, which is nice for preventing harsh clipping sounds, but it can make weird sound quality issues non obvious...
The sound reminds me of 8 bit, so it is dramatic.
No, I will try that
Thank you very much!
I also used VSTHost + Virtual Audio Cable workaround to get VST working with EQ APO. However, I hear a large decrease in sound quality for some reason. It sounds like bit depth is reduced dramatically.
The import button didn't work for me. Here is my config file.
