Can I assume then that the format of the KeePass data file (.kdbx) hasn't change or is it that the format has change but the latest version of KeePass can read the old format files? Thanks for the help BTW.

I've been running KeePass for many years without upgrading. I'm running version 2.25. I have a copy of this on several PCs and many USB sticks. Can I simply install the latest version (2.61.1 at the moment) and point it at my existing KeePass .kdbx file and everything will work or do I have to go through some data conversion process?
