Ok, that is what I thought. https://keepass.info/help/kb/trigger_examples.html#dbsync . . . this is the explanation that is no longer working for me for some reason.

If I manually sync, I get no errors but it doesn't actually sync. I have a "test entry" on each computer and they aren't showing up on the other computer after it auto syncs or I manually sync both computers. What is the downside of just opening up the Dropbox file from every computer & having that update as changes are made? What is the benefit of having a local file that syncs with DropBox? Why not use the DropBox file as the master file from every computer?

Sorry, I don't know what you are asking on how I open /sync the file. I have my computers configured exactly how the instructions have told me. https://keepass.info/help/kb/trigger_examples.html#dbsync I open the local folder and hit save. From there the trigger should do the sync based on the trigger.

I put tested it both ways. I put a file in the Dropbox sync folder @ work. It showed up at home. I deleted that file at home and put in a new different file at home, it showed up @ work. I deleted that file at work and it was removed from my home computer. I have the same setup on both my home and work computer. https://keepass.info/help/kb/trigger_examples.html#dbsync

I put the whole file location in quotes & no longer get errors, however, it doesn't seem to auto sync with the DropBox file. I did a test entry on my work computer, but it wasn't picked up at my home computer. It saves in the local file but doesn't update the DropBox file so that it can be pulled from my other locations.

No errors when I disabled the triggers. I was able to save & sync without issue.
