KeeForm notes that it is Windows only at https://keeform.org/keepass2/keeform-faq Only Windows is supported? What versions? Correct. KeeForm will not run on other platforms. Could https://keepass.info/plugins.htm please be updated to so note, around KeeForm - Form Filler Utilities Where it notes: KeeForm works with Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge by appending on Windows only. Would save readers, if they care, from some tail chasing.

Is the 'password generation option' 'generate using custom algorithm' dropdown, from tools/generate password, documented anywhere? Or is it that 'generate using custom algorithm' should really be 'generate using custom plugin'? Given 'custom password generator algorithm plugin' within https://keepass.info/plugins.html#testplugin

Good to know. Thank you for letting me know / the confirmation. Using permute and my initial pattern of: L[\_\-]lud[lud]{7} one gets sufficiently close to not expend further energy on the issue. Not infrequently an unacceptable result is returned (first character numeric or symbol rather than alphabetic), but generating again typically returns an acceptable result. Thank everyone for being here and responding - explicit response curtailing tail chasing.

Good to know, thank you for that. I did just come across that / your link, having search on 'password generator', returning https://sourceforge.net/p/keepass/discussion/search/?q=password+generator. Thank you for posting such links as https://keepass.info/plugins.html#testplugin . Even many years later they remain very illuminating for consequent readers. Herein, it demonstrates a roadmap for a reader, to travel along however far they are so inclined. Appreciated.

The custom character set [lud] is the same as A (mixed case alphanumeric). The in lud guarantees uppercase letter, a lowercase letter, and a digit, but it make the leading L somewhat redundant. You are adding unnecessary restrictions on the generated characters. The latter is why I choose it. The leading L forces an initial non-numeric and non-symbolic character, as I noted is desired. The profile guarantees a digit at the beginning A leading alphabetic character was noted as being required. Don't...
