This works for wish, now it does list awdark even after logout, but puredata still uses its default theme, doesn't matter which one I set in .Xresources, it seems to have no effect, there is a way using tcl plugins to change the color of some elements but most gui elements are hardcoded in the program, so I think its not possible to use themes with puredata. Thank you anyway for your help!

Ok..if I give that command to wish awdark gets listed, but if I exit wish and I start it again isn't listed anymore..and puredata still uses the default one. I see in process monitor that it starts with this command: wish /usr/local/lib/pd/tcl/pd-gui.tcl -- maybe I should add something to that command?
