So is there is any solution to this problem?
Hi , I removed all the compound except for chrysene and pyrene , but still it shows a rise in the temperature
Hi @danwbr , Any update on this topic..
The enthalpy of formation of carbon in Aspen Plus is 171176 cal/mol.
Here is the attached file that you have requested.
Hi @danwbr , I would like a help regarding the pyrene and chrysene cracking reaction C16H10 = 16 C + 5 H2 , C18H12 = 18 C + 6H2 which is being conducted in the conversion reactor where the pyrene and chrysene conversion is 100%. The reaction is endothermic which means the product temperature should be lower, but when DW-Sim solves it shows higher outlet temperature. Similar system was simulated in the Aspen Plus , but the outlet temperature., the product temperature is lower. What could be the discrepancy...

I am trying to code in python using the Python.NET interpreter in DWSim, I am getting the error namely Byte like object is required not str. But I don't know where it is causing the error. Can @danwbr and other forum followers please address the issue. Thanking you Regards Nihal Rao
