That means that something changed within successive LTS ubuntu's distributions. As I said, with older ubuntu's distributions i got no problem, and I don't unmount any partition before rebooting and/or shutting down It's only with the installed one, 22.04.5 LTS. I'll try once again the cloning process and I'll unmount the ntfs file system before powering off the machine. I hope that will solve the problem. MGG
