Hi again, I have decided to move over to SimpleMind. Really easy to use and still being developed. I don’t think it can import .mm files but for me this is not a problem as most of my .mm files are now archived. I was unaware of this app. However, I have tried to download it by clicking on the link you kindly provided but got a message that “This app requires updating” before it will load on my Mac. Also, can you tell me if mind maps created in Freemind can be imported to Freeplane? I have exactly the same problem as Oliver Berger. Does anyone have a solution??

I really love Freemind and use it on a daily basis. However, I have just updated my Mac to maxOS Big Sur v11.2 and FreeMind does not launch. It almost makes it but at the last minute fails. The app can't be closed in the normal manner and the only way to to close it is to force a Stop. Is this a know issue and is there a fix on the way?
