OK, right #2175 seems to fix that. I am using version3, in geany... I did not check #2175 in the first place due to #2127 being open still, thanks for your clarifications. if there is no back-port plan of #2175, I guess we can close this?

Logged back to say: patch works great here: thanks a lot Ivan! I was going nuts, pasting first in another GTK app, to copy with right mimes from here...

I am hit by this bug. I don't have/use xwayland: maybe this helps to reproduce?
