Hi all -- If a PNG filename has % or @ or an emoji, FO instantly reduces it to 0 bytes and is done optimizing. The file still exists, but in name only – obviously it won't open. I assume it's a specific tool within the stack, but I don't know which. Well, maybe it's a bug in FO itself. I haven't tested more characters. This is File Optimizer 16.90.2829.

Hi all -- The comparison table at the bottom of the 7-Zip homepage has erroneous numbers. It reports "100%" as the ratio for 7-Zip for both datasets. And 106% and 107% for WinRAR. I'm having the same problem. My settings for PDFs are not saved. I set it to 300 dpi Prepress, and it always shows None if I close and re-open the app.

Hi so sorry, I completely forgot this, have no memory of it at all. I'll look it into it. I'm just not well-versed in creating Wikipedia articles. Small applications will often be tagged as "Not meeting Wikipedia's notability guidelines" and get deleted. I'm not sure what the specific requirements for "notability" are for software.

Those are strange test results. APNG is normally much smaller than GIF. APNG is widely supported by all major browsers now: Firefox, Safari, Chrome, and Edge.
