Christian answered my email, pointed me to the max directory that I downloaded, finally, from here https://sourceforge.net/projects/freemind/files/freemind/1.0.1/freemind-bin-max-1.0.1.zip/download?use_mirror=nav&download= I unzipped, moved the directory to /opt/ directory, chmod a+x on freemind.sh file and worked perfectly from there! Thank you!
I would like to find a source for freemind 1.0.1 for Ubuntu (22.04). Each time I upgrade my Linux system, I have this problem and I always forget to save a kit. My problem is that I also use Freemind on Windows, where there is no 1.1 version available yet and I have problems syncing document files over platforms (1.1 version files can't be open in 1.0.1 Freemind in Windows). Thank you! Best regards, Adrian Vidrașcu
I am sorry for this newbie question, but I need to install the version 1.0.1, to be able to sync with my Windows version, and I can't find a way to do this. Snap installs version 1.1 and I can't downgrade. If I open my files with that version and save them in Ubuntu, I can't open in Windows after that.
