Fix build failure with GCC 15
Thanks for your help. I agree that it makes sense to package the latest version for Debian unstable. However Debian also maintains different stable releases and we prefer to backport targeted fixes for security vulnerabilites to keep the changes minimal and not to risk regressions. Backporting worked very well, the commits applied almost without fuzz.
Please clarify fixing commits for recently fixed CVE
@Jiri Slaby Thank you for the patch. I have applied this change in Debian. It will soon migrate to Ubuntu as well. The sweethome3d-furniture-editor is also affected by this bug. Any idea how to fix that? See also https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/sweethome3d-furniture-editor/+bug/1773553

Thank you for the patch. Do you also intend to make a new release?
Hi, has this issue been fixed in the meantime?
Unfortunately we (Debian) don't support this use case. We can support only one JDK per release. That means all software must be able to build and run with OpenJDK 9 no later than January 2019 when the development for the next release freezes. Other distributions have similar constraints. It is not feasible to support more than one JDK because we want to ensure that all software can be built from source. It's also quite problematic security wise because a release is supported for five years and for...
