After so many posts asking to have greek letters appear on wxMaxima, I'm asking for a way to make them stop. I want a variable called "nu": an "n" for "north", followed by a "u" for "u-turn". I have nl, nr, su, eu, etc. But one variable keeps turning into a greek letter. I am not preceeding or following the letter with an ESC. I suppose I could rewrite all of my variables as n_u and n_l and s_l, etc., but isn't there a way to turn off greek variable conversion? Thanks, Andrius
