Thanks for your quick responses and comments. I use Autohotkey, among other things just in the way you describe, highlight a text and do something with it (Google or Translate etc). So I'll see if I can port your code so it works for my needs. Best regards Anders

I have a lot of IP numbers and hostname in both email, word, Excel, Jira as well as my own documentation .. It would be helpfull if I could select an IP number or host name and then do a search directly from any source, via a hot key or any other trigger ( preferably configure which fields to search) in Keepass. Thanks for this valuable tip! It was just the solution I needed Could not understand what caused the slowness suddenly. Did not pair the problem with this menu item being activated. Now the system is just as fast again.
