I hadn't tried Skirmish mode before. At first it seemed that only the three primary Dune 2 houses were selectable, but there is a nearly invisible arrow that does allow to select the other three houses. (Me wondering why that arrow is nearly invisible...) I just finished Atreides mission 1 via Skirmish. The game doesn't let you continue the campaign. It just takes you back to the main menu.
