I only know the option of using the command line for 7-zip to search within archive 7z l "archive.ext" "filename" -r e.g. 7-zip search within archive 7z l OneDrive_2023-10-06.zip "My letter.docx" -r It would be great if this can be added as a TOOL in the 7zip GUI

I got it working again. The Java updater doesn't seem be remove all old Java references. I manually uninstalled Java. Rebooted. Used CCleaner to scan and fix the registry (there were a few referenced to Java that may have made a difference?). I then downloaded the Java installer to install the latest version. Things seems to be working fine now.

Same issue here. I think it may be a JRE bug or change to some library as it is happening with a number of my Java based programs including: JPDFBookmarks, FreeMind, FreePlane. Will keep looking for a solution.
