Thanks for your help Paul. Database on the laptop and sychronize my 'phone seems to be the way to go. Keepass2forandroid seems to be very robust indeed and survived the network being cut off, forced quit and the 'phone being switched off. The cache survived and I could sychronize. With the database on my owncloud server, with no network, I couldn't access my passwords using the laptop with Macpass nor with KeePassXC so that is a no-go. With a database on the laptop, I couldn't find anything like...
Isolated my 'phone from the cloud and rebooted. Keepass2Android showed a jave exception but had saved a backup copy somewhere on the 'phone. I shall keep looking to find out where it is! Will check the synchronization when I turn wifi back on. After another reboot. Looking good. Need to do the same thing from my laptop with the file on my Pi.
OK thanks. Downloaded Keepass2Android and set up the ssh public key on my laptop and I'm into the laptop file. I think I'd be better putting the file on my own cloud server (fancy name for a raspberry pi with a public ip). The only problem with this is if my 'phone is not connected to the internet and I need the password to connect to the internet, I've got a classic "Catch 22" situation. Or am I missing something again? Is a copy of the file kept on the 'phone as well?
Sorry for being a bit thick but I don't understand the syncing process if there is a file on my mac and another instance of the file on my 'phone. What program/protocol links them together so that changes in both can be transfered to one another?
I am very recent user and have a KeePass application on my mac and on my android 'phone. I am thinking that the easiest way for me to synchronise would be to just copy the file from the computer to the 'phone. Unless there is some easy way of syncing. By the way, I just installed mac os big sur and mono stopped working. I have MacPass and will try KeePassXC as well.
I recently put open camera onto my mi Xiaomi mi a2 lite and noticed that the camera information did not show up when viewing using nikon viewnx-i on my macbook.
