It's a little late for this answer, but maybe another one has the same problem in future. I have solved this by creating two partitions: A small first one with unencrypted FAT32 or EXFAT and a big second encrypted by Veracrypt. This also makes the following possible: * You can use it to transfer data without using Veracrypt too * You can place installation files there for the case that you want to access to the encrypted data where Verycrypt is not yet installed * Maybe the second partition remains...
It's unbelievable what progress this software has made in the meantime. I now need them again and I use them with pleasure. I have a suggestion for improvement: Could you add a vertical alignment of the text in boxes? Currently the text is always aligned on top. Many Thanks, Andreas
Bug report: If I want to edit an text box, there is no text to edit in it. Same happens, if I create a new text box - when I close it and open it again for editing, it's empty.
I am creating dummy components that should be drill holes. Would it be possible: to draw in thinner lines too (half thickness, like the via symbol)? that I can also specify in the "Pin Rendering" that the pins are hidden (no circles and no rectangles) so that it only affects the (auto)router and is not shown - alternatively it could be circles, rectangles and dots - so that it looks like the grid. that I can specify the default position of the label (not centered)?
I have installed the new version and have already played around a bit with the Component Editor. Good work! I think it's good that you can always switch to the editor view. I think, the basic controls are almost self-explanatory. :-) What I noticed so far: To delete already created pins you have to set them individually to "0". It should be able to mark and delete several. Maybe with rectangle selection, like in the "normal" mode or simply by multi-select. I would like to have the opportunity to...
You told me to create and group several parts when there are areas where parts under other parts may be. Thanks for the tip, this works. What bothers me is that I have to start with pin number 1 again (because numbering always starts with "1"). Can you maybe change that, so that I can begin with a higher number? Then I can, for example, create two components with the pins 1 to 15 and 16 to 30 and then group them together, save them as .vrt and if necessary import them with "merge". One more question:...
I almost always have to use the dimensions of an existing veroboard. I try to arrange the components so that they can fit. (I think, that's common.) It would be of help to me if I could enter a board size, which is then displayed permanently as an orientation so I see what I still have to move together. My idea for that would be that I can enter the dimensions somewhere (maybe in the "Rendering Options" window) and then the background outside of this dimensions is permanently displayed in a (very)...
It would be helpful if I could rotate the orientation of the pin labels (at least it should not be upside down). Unfortenately it is not possible, I'm not sure if that worked in a prior version. Maybe I'm wrong, but I think I remember that text boxes could be rotated before. That is also not possible at the moment... Edit 1.) A feature request would be that I can vertically align text in text boxes. Edit 2.) A second feature request woud be that I can set a background color to text boxes (with transparency...
