SageThumbs crashes Explorer when searching .PSD files

Hello folks, long story short. I have a TrueCrypt drive which I dismantled and plugged into my sata on the mainboard. It wont recognize the drive like the external controller does. Windows wants me to initialize the disk which i havent done. Now, when I plug it back into the external controller, it wont get recognized correctly either. I can not mount the drive anymore. Do I have to initialize? Any help would be much appreciated!
