I've seen a few branches of Dune Legacy and also the "Dune II The Maker" project - does anyone know which project/codebase is currently most active?

I'm playing through Dune on DuneLegacy and having trouble with level 5 (first level where you get repair), I've seen multiple threads on the difficulty being broken, and suggestions to change the AI difficulty - so I tried repeating on 'easy'. The problem seems to be that you are unable to defeat a single enemy unit - the combined firepower of your starting units is unable to defeat one unit, as the enemy is constantly repaired and replaced. This means if 1 enemy unit finds your base it will destroy...
