You Rock! I will give that a shot. In your video GLMixer + puredata + pd-aubio it looks like still shot are being cycled to the music but are those stills on one video or does OSC pull video from the different video clips within that session into the one video box that is center mass? Also is it puredata or pd-aubio that allows for the clips to be switched per the music? Sorry for all the questions I just want to learn.
I read the section regarding OSC on the wiki. Am I correct that what you are talking about is the language under "Controling sources properties: target ‘current’, source name or index"?
Luca thank you for the response. I am not familiar with Puredata but just to confirm. Could I use OSC to identify each video with a key on my computer keyboard like the number 1-9 so when I press number 1 it pulls just that one video clip center mass in the mixing circle and then hitting number 2 pulls a different video center mass and removes the first video linked to number 1?
Hello, first I want to say I love glmixer. The product is amazing and find it much better than most VJ software. I have been using it for live video mixing for about a year now and find it very effective with little issues getting a fluid picture. I am not sure if I use the program as intended but typically I will cluster about 10 videos in a session and have them all selected and drag with a mouse from one video to another as I want to change the visuals. Most video blending I have already done...
