I have replace one of my dying data drive from 4tb to 3tb drive. Data has been copied manually. Mounted the 3tb and ran snapraid sync. After the initial errors of uuid change all, it went fine. However, snapraid daemon is showing error as below: CRITICAL: ARRAY FAILING System health is currently FAILING. Disk d2 has split 0 with UUID changed from b33dc6d0-7671-4ab7-9103-c09ff30xxxxx to a99d7d6a-96dc-431d-a204-ce0612axxxxx. Tried below to no avails: 1) restart snapraidd 2) snapraid sync --force-uuid...

Oh wait...in the first picture, I have to add the Wasted GB into the calculations too. That will make it up to 4TB. Alright, thanks for pointing out the obvious. I am silly.

I recently upgraded a 2TB hdd to 4TB hdd. Run sync before. Make sure everything is sync up then copy old to new. Then swap the HDD. After swapping I run snapraid sync and get message about hdd id change to new. Everything seems to be working but the drive size reports is still 2TB. How do I make it detect as 4TB?

I have replaced a data disk of 2tb to a new data disk of 4tb. I use rsync to copy the data. Then I mount the 4tb disk as the same path and name. Snapraid diff and sync ran find. At first detected UUID different but subsequent run without issue. However, the data size is not updated. It is still showing 2tb in snapraid. Should I have done the empty data drive or change the name of the new data drive method? Please advice, thank you. Update: nvm my mistake, all is good.
