I can confirm the problem is still present on 1.6.0.
Thanks to @Arki55 suggestions I was able to compile fuse 1.6.0. I can confirm the bug is present on 1.6.0 too. The game I used for testing is this. Alas the problem is non-deterministic so I cannot give specific instruction on how to reproduce bar from “play the game for a bit”.
Sure: loading from command line: Spectrum 128k; loading with <F2>: Spectrum 128k. While checking this, I noticed that: if I load the snapshot from command line, then the volume is higher; but I just need to press <F1> and <Esc> to have it return to normal (so: enter the menu and exit the menu without actually changing nothing.
./configure --prefix /home/f/media/vcs/fuse-1.6.0/usr/ does not work (still get Requested 'libspectrum >= 1.5.0' but version of libspectrum is 1.4.4). I would not know what to put in: LIBSPECTRUM_CFLAGS C compiler flags for LIBSPECTRUM, overriding pkg-config LIBSPECTRUM_LIBS linker flags for LIBSPECTRUM, overriding pkg-config
PGP signatures for libspectrum are 4040
Have a documented way to build fuse against a local libspectrum.
Sorry, not going to frankendebian my system to test this. bookworm is going to be released in june and it will ship libspectrum 1.5.0. I will wait until then.
I tried installing 1.6.0 and I am stuck at Requested 'libspectrum >= 1.5.0' but version of libspectrum is 1.4.4 You may find new versions of libspectrum at http://fuse-emulator.sourceforge.net/libspectrum.php I have installed libspectrum locally, do you happen to know how to get configure to see it? Exporting usual env vars did not help. Il 02 maggio 2023 alle 19:46 Arki55 ha scritto: You're not running the most recent version, which is 1.6. Can you try that version as well? https://sourceforge.net/projects/fuse-emulator/files/fuse/...
