I just repeated the process after I changed the passphrase to something simple where the language of the keyboard or the environment doesn't make problems. The same thing happened: Cloning worked fine; at one partition clonezilla claimed that this has to be FAT16, but it was not the encrypted windows-partition. The cloning succeeded, but when I tried to decrypt the veracrypt-partition the password would not be accepted. Is there a way to compare the first bytes of both partitions? if so with which...
I only used a passphrase, no keyfile (as far as I know) and I only put in a passphrase. I am able to create a rescue-file since I have the original drive, but when I try to mount the new ssd with an external compartment, this partition doesn't recognise my passphrase.
