I've installed the flatpak via gnome-software and do not know how to downgrade to a previous version. As I it is very seldom that I do such operations I cannot remember which version of fre:ac I used the last time and if I ever have thrown a cuesheet on it. Please suggest how I might help nevertheless.

How comes fre:ac 1.1.3 cannot (anymore ?) handle cue files properly? I'll attach a screenshot that shows fre:acs readings in comparison with foobar2000, which has no problem understanding that very same cuesheet.

Accidentially it were mp3 files that I wanted to merge. So I installed and used mp3DirectCut. It does merge the files in a different way than Mp3Wrap does (which I had used previously). Files merged with Mp3Wrap cause players to show only the first segments time as total playing time. On the other hand these files can be split again using mp3splt. I had hoped, fre:ac could merge the files reversibly AND give the true playing time. Anyway I understand your arguments for not integrating such a function...

I'd like to just merge files and have chapters written in the tags. I do not want to heve them rencoded. Thank you!

Good to know, thank you! Would it then be preferable to choose an output format that uses the same samplerate as the input was, especially at higher bitrates?
